RiversEdge West (formerly Tamarisk Coalition) was founded in 1999. RiversEdge West focuses on riparian forest and floodplain health in the American West to address impacts from invasive riparian (riverside) plants such as Russian olive and tamarisk, challenges associated with climate change and habitat fragmentation, and stressors that may result in diminished biodiversity and ecosystem services.

In 2017, the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) established the Western Monarch Working Group (WMWG) to proactively lead a multi-state cooperative effort for conservation of the western monarch population.

Farmers for Monarchs is an initiative of the Keystone Monarch Collaborative. The Collaborative consists of national organizations representing farmers, ranchers, and land owners; businesses working along the agricultural supply chain; researchers and academic institutions; federal and state entities; and conservation organizations – see members list below.

The Family Farm Alliance is a powerful advocate for family farmers, ranchers, irrigation districts, and allied industries in seventeen Western states.

The purpose of our Partnering to Conserve Sagebrush Rangeland effort is to catalyze proactive, voluntary, and community-led sagebrush rangeland conservation – expanding success across private and public lands.

The Intermountain West Joint Venture (IWJV) was established in 1994 to conserve priority bird habitats through partnership-driven, science-based projects and programs.

This initiative is bringing hundreds of partners together to focus strategically on threats in the sagebrush ecosystem including conifer encroachment, degraded wet meadows and other mesic resources, the challenge of the cycle and spread of annual invasive and catastrophic wildfire, and the need for grazing improvements.
