Grant County The Grant SWCD is a local unit of government that manages and directs natural resource programs within Grant County. The SWCD works with landowners in rural, urban and lakeshore areas to implement a programs for the conservation, use, and development of soil, water, and related resources.

The Minnesota Assocation of Soil & Water Conservation Districts Area II Association is made up of the Boards of Supervisors of 11 area districts.

Mission To provide local leadership in the conservation of soil, water, and related natural resources through programs and partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations, and government.

History: The Swift County Soil and Water Conservation District opened in 1944 in Benson, Minnesota. It has remained there ever since, serving the local community.

 Our Mission: The Mission of Pope Soil & Water Conservation District is to promote, guide, and provide high quality technical assistance for Pope County and for the enhancement and protection of land and water resources through implementation projects that will lead toward effective conservation of soil and water.

The purpose of the Chippewa Soil and Water Conservation District is to control soil erosion and improve water quality. The primary goal of the District is to take available technical, financial and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus on coordinating them so that they meet the needs of the local land user.

Established on May 26th of 1958, the Wadena Soil & Water Conservation District was organized by local farmers, with help from the Agriculture Extension Service.

The Todd Soil and Water Program was organized on March 29th, 1965 by the Todd County Commissioners and was certified by the Secretary of State on April 12th, 1965.

Mission to encourage the wise use of land and water and to treat these resources in accordance with their needs for protection and improvement.

The Renville County  Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD)  is a legal subdivision of the State of Minnesota, operating under a charter issued by the Secretary of State

Meeker Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) was organized in the fall of 1949 and additional townships were added in 1951 and 1953 and all cities were added in July of 1972.

Mission to Protect and Improve Mahnomen County's Natural Resources Through the Implementation of the District's Annual Plan.The Mahnomen Soil and Water Conservation District was organized by the Veteran's Agricultural Classes and their instructors, local farmers and business men, assisted by the Agricultural Extension Service

Mission  to protect and enhance Benton County's soil, water, and other natural resources; to nurture a conservation ethic by educating county residents on conservation and environmental issues.

Mission: The Wright Soil and Water Conservation District shall provide local leadership in the conservation and wise use of soil, water and related resources through a balanced program that protects, restores and improves those resources by utilizing education, regulation and incentive programs.

The Brown Soil & Water Conservation District is a local unit of government established under state law to carry out conservation programs at the local level.

 MISSION STATEMENT: It is the mission of the Red Lake County Soil & Water Conservation District to assist landowners, local units of government to make wise land use decisions, to protect and enhance soil and water and other resources, to nurture a conservation ethic by educating present and future generations on conservation and environmental issues.

Mission to assist the people of Watonwan County in the wise management of the quality and quantity of ground and surface water, the wise management of wind and water erosion areas, and to educate landowners to recognize the need for proper soil and water resource management.

The mission  To assist land occupiers in protecting and enhancing the natural resources of Carlton County. The Carlton SWCD works to fulfill this mission in Carlton County by providing leadership in water quality and soil erosion issues including: Environmental and Conservation Education, Resource Planning, Project Planning and Implementation, and Financial Assistance Programs for Conservation Practice Implementation.

Lake of the Woods Soil and Water Conservation District is a non-profit organization.  The focus of the District is to provide a connection between private landowners, government agencies, and our natural resources.

The Koochiching Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a local agency that provides access to natural resource management and conservation services.

Mission to promote natural resource stewardship by providing educational, technical and financial assistance. The Fillmore Soil and Water Conservation District was established in January, 1962, by authority of the Minnesota Soil Conservation Committee.
