Lake of the Woods Soil and Water Conservation District

Lake of the Woods Soil and Water Conservation District is a non-profit organization.  The focus of the District is to provide a connection between private landowners, government agencies, and our natural resources.  SWCDs are organized by county, and exist throughout Minnesota and the United States. 

Mission
to provide for the adoption of sound water quality, proper land use, and soil conservation practices on all lands in the District, to assist with the development of a prosperous agricultural economy, and to foster other community development for the general welfare and security of the people of the District.
