NRCS Utah headquarters are in Salt Lake City, but we have employees in nearly every county across the state who help local communities every day

The BLM manages nearly 22.9 million acres of public lands in Utah, representing about 42 percent of the state. Located mostly in western and southeastern Utah, these lands are varied, ranging from rolling uplands to sprawling desert lowlands.

Located in the northwestern Utah, the 7.7 million-acre West Desert District is uniquely different from any other part of the state. Much of this area is a part of the Great Basin region, a place of isolated mountain ranges separated by desert playas and wide-sweeping sagebrush flats

The Salt Lake Field Office is located in the northwest corner of Utah and encompasses 3.3 million acres of public lands within eleven Utah counties

The Utah Ecological Services Field Office provides biological advice to other federal and state agencies, industry, and members of the public concerning the conservation of fish and wildlife and their habitat that may be affected by development activities.

The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food works with farmers and ranchers through conservation planning and assistance designed to benefit the soil, water, air, plants, and animals that result in productive lands and healthy ecosystems.

The Vernal Field Office (VFO) is located in the northeast corner of Utah and administers lands within Daggett, Duchesne and Uintah Counties, plus a small portion of Grand County

The Price Field Office (PFO) is located at the northwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau--the gateway to the red-rock country and the San Rafael Swell

The Fillmore Field Office (FFO) is located in west-central Utah, bordering Great Basin National Park, and the Fishlake, Dixie and Manti-LaSal National Forests

The Richfield Field Office, managed within the Color Country District is located in Central Utah and covers five counties- Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, Wayne and Garfield

The Canyon Country District, comprised of the Moab and Monticello Field Offices manages about 3.6 million surface acres, providing opportunities for commercial recreation, livestock grazing, mining and oil and gas exploration, supporting local and regional economies in many ways

Located in the heart of the Colorado Plateau, the Moab Field Office encompasses 1.8 million acres of stunningly scenic canyon country. Carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers, Moab’s public lands include a vast variety of arches, natural bridges, mesas, and spires

The Monticello Field Office, located in the southeast corner of Utah, is known for its striking landscapes, extraordinary scenery, and backcountry recreation

Color Country District Office

The Color Country District Office and Cedar City Field Office are co-located in southwest Utah’s Iron County, while managing public land in Beaver County

The Kanab Field Office, managed within the Color Country District is located in Utah’s Kane County, near the Utah-Arizona border, Lake Powell, and Arizona's Grand Canyon

The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) represents 23 states and Canadian provinces, spanning from Alaska to Texas and Saskatchewan to Hawaii - an area covering nearly 3.

The BLM Arizona Strip District is comprised of the Arizona Strip Field Office, as well as joint management of the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument with the National Park Service

The Western Governors’ Association represents the Governors of 19 Western states and 3 U.S.-flag islands. The association is an instrument of the Governors for bipartisan policy development, information exchange and collective action on issues of critical importance to the Western United States.

The Monarch Conservation Science Partnership is a USGS led group of scientists, managers, and conservation organizations who perform science related to the conservation of monarch butterflies.
