Organized in 1930, and Federated in 1935, the Afton Federated Garden Club meets at 1:30 pm on the second Friday of the month in homes of the members.

Organized in 1946, the Grant Sunshine Federated Garden Club meets at the Anderson Conservation Area, Dr. F.R. Wolfe Nature Center, Red Oak, IA  

Organized in 1945, and Federated in 1948, the Sunshine Garden Club meets the first Wednesday of the month, time and place as indicated per schedule.

Garden Club

The purpose of the Des Moines Founders Garden Club is to instruct the public on horticultural subjects and stimulate interest in the beautification of geographical areas by active and progressive gardening.

Organized in 1934, the Highland Park Garden Club meet the third Wednesday of each month, except in July and August.

Organized in 1923 and Federated in 1928, the Ames Garden Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Malhstede Building at Reiman Gardens, unless otherwise noted.

 The Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa, Inc. grew out of the Garden Short Courses begun at Iowa State College (University) in Ames, Iowa, in 1925.

Organized in 2003, the Cottage Garden Society meets January thru October on the last Monday of the month, times as noted in program.  

Organized in 1926, and Federated in 1929, the Vinton Garden Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Our club was organized to stimulate the love of gardening, encourage home and community beautification, promote better horticultural practices, and encourage all forms of conservation.

The Independence Garden Club of Independence, Iowa became a Charter Member of the Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa, Inc. when organized on January 31,1930 and we are still going and growing strong.

Organized in 1968 and Federated in 1969, the Estherville Federated Garden Club meets every third Tuesday Jan. through Oct. The club does not hold a meeting in Nov.

The purpose of the Cedar Rapids Garden Club is to stimulate the knowledge and the love of gardening to educate our members and the public through meetings, conferences and publications; to restore improve and protect the quality of the environment through programs and action in the fields of conservation, civic improvement and education.

Organized in 1935, the Quasqueton Federated Garden Club meets the third Thursday of each month, with dessert luncheon at 1:00 pm.  Meetings are held at the home of the host or hostess, unless other arrangements are noted.
