The mission of the Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District is to conserve and enhance the wise use of our soil, water and related natural resources.

The Wabash County Soil and  Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a legal subdivision of the State of  Indiana.  It was formed as an independent body under and subject only to the Indiana Soil and Water Conservation District Law.

The Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District was created by the vote of the landowners on August 27, 1947, in accordance with the provisions of the Indiana Soil Conservation Act of 1937.

The Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation District is a legal subdivision of state government responsible for conserving natural resources within our county.

The Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District is a local subdivision of Indiana state government responsible for providing education and information about soil, water and related natural resource conservation; identify and prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect resident land users to sources of education, technical and financial assistance, to implement conservation practices and technologies.

The Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) was started in 1946 as part of a response to the soil erosion crisis.  Bad farming practices coupled with drought led to the Dust Bowl of the 1930’s.

The Whitley County Soil and Water Conservation District was formed January 18, 1955, by referendum vote of the landowners. The District is a sub-division for the State of Indiana and is responsible for soil and water conservation activities in Whitley County.

The Pulaski County Soil & Water Conservation District is a governmental subdivision of the state of Indiana. It is responsible for carrying out practices and programs that promote the conservation of our soil, water, and other natural resources within the county.

The mission of the Owen County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is to provide leadership and assistance in the proper use and management of soil, water, and related natural resources in Owen County, Indiana.

The Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a local subdivision of Indiana state government responsible for leadership in the conservation of Monroe County’s natural resources.

Dearborn County Soil & Water Conservation District is committed to promoting natural resource conservation through education, available technology, technical assistance and partnership with other entities, with an understanding of our past and an eye toward the future.

The Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District was first organized on April 12th, 1940 as a result of a national movement for change due to the combination of drought and the Great Depression wreaking havoc on the country’s farm ground.

The Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) was organized in November, 1945 as a legal subdivision of the State of Indiana.

The Steuben County Soil and Water Conservation District was created on December 15, 1948, by a referendum of the people. Their desire was to establish a Conservation District that would be a singular force to ensure that the natural resources of their community would be used wisely and be there for future generations.

The Porter County Soil And Water Conservation District was created to connect people with questions and concerns about soil, water and related natural resources issues to people with answers and solutions.

The purpose of the Sullivan County Soil and Water Conservation District is to provide information about soil, water, and related natural resource conservation; identify and prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect land users to sources of educational, technical and financial assistance to implement conservation practices and technologies.

The Floyd County Soil & Water Conservation District assists landowners with issues concerning land. The Soil & Water Conservation District can assist with inquiries concerning erosion control, land conservation and can provide additional information on additonal state and federal resources available to land owners.

The Crawford County Soil and Water Conservation District, a unit of local government, is a legal subdivision of State Government responsible under state law for leadership in the conservation and development of soil, water, and related resources in the county.

In line with the Knox County Soil & Water Conservation District’s  Native Plant Program, the Knox County CWMA will be selling some native plants at a couple of events this year, including the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous, the Knox County Fair, and Knox County Nature Days.

The Warrick County Soil and Water Conservation District exists to educate the public on issues relating to conservation of soil and water, promote conservation practices and sustainable solutions relating to degradation of soil and water resources, and provide technical and financial assistance to landowners who seek to preserve and improve soil and water quality.

Our mission is to provide information about soil, water, and related natural resource conservation; identify and prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect land users to sources of educational, technical and financial assistance to implement conservation practices and technologies.

The mission of the Vanderburgh County Soil and Water Conservation District is to provide quality conservation services resulting in a balance between natural resources, social change and profitability within Vanderburgh County by fostering innovative partnersips.
