In this “Gateway to the Owyhees,” visitors can explore the North Fork and Owyhee River Wilderness areas, ride motorcycles or ATVs at Hemingway Butte, and view wild horses at one of the several herd management areas.

The Burley Field Office, located in south-central Idaho, manages approximately 834,700 acres of public lands. Here, the Oregon-California National Historic Trail hosts some of the best-preserved evidence of early pioneer trail sections

The Cottonwood Field Office manages just over 131,000 acres of public lands. Much of the field office lies along the scenic Lower Salmon River corridor
