The ECPBA is a landowner-led group to conduct and promote the safe use of prescribed fire in Franklin and surrounding counties in East Central Missouri.

Scenic Rivers Farm & Forest Consulting was born from a passion to help people fulfill their goal to care for, manage, and utilize their natural resources for their economic and recreational benefit and enjoyment.

A diverse group, ranging from fire management professionals to quail advocates to academics, came together to promote and protect the responsible use of prescribed fire as a natural resource management tool in Missouri.

Through partnerships with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and other partners, our staff of Farm Bill Wildlife Biologists and Coordinating Wildlife Biologists are available to provide one-on-one technical service to Missouri landowners who strive to improve their properties for wildlife.

Chloeta is the nation’s premier provider of professional and safe wildland fire management services. Chloeta is capable of providing a variety of skilled and experienced incident management personnel and quality apparatus for wildland fire preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery for a variety of public and private sector clients.

In 2010, a diverse group of the region's resource management leaders formed the Shortleaf Working Group (SWG). This group began to focus regional attention on the extensive and rapid loss of shortleaf pine habitats and the associated values.
