The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. For more than 30 years, we’ve worked in Kansas to do just that.

In 2003, the Kansas Livestock Association formed the Kansas Livestock Association Ranchland Trust. Renamed the Ranchland Trust of Kansas (RTK) in 2008, RTK works in cooperative agreement with voluntary ranchers and conservation partners to create perpetual conservation easements.

Kansas Land Trust partners with landowners, communities and other conservation organizations to protect our State’s most precious resources by conserving lands of ecological, agricultural, scenic, historical and cultural significance in Kansas.

The Platte Land Trust is an all-volunteer organization with a mission of protecting land, natural resources, and open space in the four-corners area of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa for the benefit of today’s communities and future generations.

The Watershed Land Trust (WLT) Is a nonprofit charitable organization which was formed to hold land in fee simple and/or conservation easements in perpetuity.

The Sunflower Land Trust (SLT) was established in 1996 to provide a wide range of conservation activities for Kansas landowners. With decades of land conservation and manage experience, the SLT can help landowners to better manage and conserve their family land.

The Ozark Regional Land Trust is a non-profit conservation land trust operating throughout the Ozark region, which includes portions of Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

 The Trust for Public Land is a non-profit conservation organization with a mission of conserving land for people by creating parks, gardens, and playgrounds and protecting cherished landscapes from inner city to wilderness.
