The Milkweed Market is provided by Monarch Watch, a nonprofit education, conservation, and research program based at the University of Kansas that focuses on the monarch butterfly, its habitat, and its spectacular fall migration.

We have strived to find Illinois ecotype specific plants that thrive in the diverse midwestern climate.  These plants are not only eco specific, but they will be a welcome addition to any home landscaping project, seed mix plot, or full prairie restoration.
