Union Soil and Water Conservation District

Established in 1945, the Union Soil and Water Conservation District is a legally organized subdivision of the State of Ohio. Governed by a volunteer Board of Supervisors elected by Union County residents, the Union SWCD assists landowners with the planning and implementation of conservation practices. The Union SWCD also promotes the conservation and development of natural resources throughout the county.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Union SWCD is to promote, preserve and enhance the wise use of our natural resources for the people of Union County by providing technical, financial and educational assistance.
