Uinta Headwaters RC&DUpdated:06/2014

The Uinta Headwaters RC&D Council is part of the nationwide Resource Conservation and Development Program, which offers technical and financial assistance from USDA for conservation and water management projects and expansion of economic, cultural, and recreational opportunities. Projects are led by RC&D councils comprised of volunteers from the private sector and units of local government. Council members identify local problems and develop and implement plans to solve those problems.

The Uinita Headwaters RC&D Council began as the Mountainland Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) area in 1998, but became the Uinta Headwaters RC&D in 2001.
