TreePeople Land Trust

Based in Calabasas, TreePeople Land Trust is a non-governmental, non-profit/public benefit organization that is dedicated to preserving the natural and cultural resources of the Santa Monica Mountains through habitat restoration, education, land acquisition, and conservation easements. We are guided by a board of directors, operated by a professional staff, and supported by thousands of donors, community members, and volunteers. Our work is mainly funded by public conservation funding and partially by generous private donations. TreePeople Land Trust works in cooperation with the many government agencies and non-governmental organizations in the Santa Monica Mountains to create a more sustainable approach to maintaining the mountains for people to enjoy for many generations to come.
