Tippecanoe County Soil and Water Conservation District

Mission
The Tippecanoe County Soil and Water Conservation District is committed to provide quality technical, educational, and informational resources for the community through leadership, service, and citizen involvement to foster natural resource conservation and environmental stewardship.

The Tippecanoe County SWCD conducts annual native plant sales each year. Flowers and grasses are sold in spring, while trees and shrubs are sold in the fall. Our spring sale plants are purchased from Spence Restoration Nursery, which only sells native species. Our fall sale plants are purchased from Woody Warehouse, which also provides only native species. Typically, we offer 30 species of forbs, 5 species of graminoids and a rain garden, pollinator and shade/woodland mix for our spring sale. We offer 40 species of native trees and shrubs for our fall sale.  For details see our website
