To preserve natural features, animate and inanimate, in Marin County, CA, particularly the scenic beauties and flora and fauna native to Mt. Tamalpais, its spurs and slopes; To build, maintain, and protect its footpaths and walking trail for low-impact, non-mechanized use; To support retention of these lands as a public park and to aid and encourage acquisition of lands as public parks and public open space.
