History: The Swift County Soil and Water Conservation District opened in 1944 in Benson, Minnesota. It has remained there ever since, serving the local community.

Mission: The Swift Soil & Water Conservation District seeks to achieve and maintain the highest quality and quantity of our natural resources. Swift County will provide protection of land and water resources and is committed to providing assistance to any individual, group or agency that requests help in managing their natural resources.
