University of Nevada Cooperative Extension's Southern Clark County office is located in Laughlin and provides access to educational opportunities for residents residing in Cal-Nev-Ari, Laughlin and Searchlight. Laughlin is an unincorporated township within Clark County, just 90 miles south of Las Vegas and is set in a rugged mountain terrain which gently slopes to the cool banks of the Colorado River. Laughlin is home to approximately 9,000 residents with an average age of 46.
