Ross Soil and Water Conservation District

The Ross County Soil and Water Conservation District was formed in 1947. The District is a legally organized subdivision of the State of Ohio that is governed by a volunteer Board of Supervisors elected by Ross County residents.

Ross SWCD assists landowners with the planning and implementation of conservation practices.

To provide leadership and education to the public for the stewardship of natural resources.

Be recognized as a leader in Ross County, promoting innovative and responsible stewardship of natural resources to enhance the quality of life.

  • Provide assistance for conservation practices through the Farm Bill
