Ranch Open Space of NevadaUpdated:07/2014

ROSN is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit group made up of ranchers and other interested individuals. Ranches in Nevada are under pressure from development interests which desire the land and water these ranches own. Others wish to see ranches remain through regulation by local governments. We reject both of these approaches. The ability to develop is valuable to ranchers. If these ranches are to remain, the owners must be compensated for giving up their development rights. We work with willing owners to find solutions that protect the land and the owners. After all, without someone to work the land, the wildlife habitat, scenery and watershed values wouldn't exist.
