Philip D. Bailey, MAI

Phil has over 20 years of experience across a wide variety of forestland and valuation and investment analysis projects.  His experience includes real estate appraisals, timberland due diligence analysis, timber price indexing, conservation easement valuation and portfolio tract valuations. Phil is a State Certified Appraiser in sixteen eastern and southern states spanning from New York to Texas and since 2020 has supervised and appraised over 8 million acres of forestland assets valued at more than US$13 billion.
 
His expertise in forestland valuation is extensive with experience in the U.S. South, Appalachia, Northeast, Lake States as well as in Central and South America and Europe. This includes proficiency in pine, eucalyptus, and teak plantations along with natural forests of eastern U.S. hardwood and tropical broadleaf forests. Phil manages projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.
