The Mission of the Ozark Trail Association is to develop, maintain, preserve, promote and protect the rugged, natural beauty of the Ozark Trail, a National Recreation Trail in Missouri.
The Ozark Trail Association has built over 35 miles of new trail, powered by our volunteers. How about joining us? Share the rewards of developing this amazing resource. A small annual membership fee gets you a packet with an OTA patch, along with a subscription to the quarterly newsletter, The Trail Builder.
Choose a time and place that works for you: check out our Adopt-A-Trail Program for trail maintenance, the Trail Angel Program, and other work outings. A little time spent in the woods can really add up: in 2008, OTA members and volunteers put in over 13,000 hours and received a U.S. Forest Service Volunteer Program Award, and the Ozark Trail was named a National Recreation Trail–thanks to our dedicated volunteers.
