Outagamie County Land Conservation Department

The Outagamie County Land Conservation Department helps landowners in Outagamie County with cost share programs, technical assistance, and education to promote and achieve better care of the land.  

The department offers cost sharing to landowners in Outagamie County to help producers maintain present conservation activities and make new conservation improvements, such as:
  • improve erosion control,
  • better water quality practices, or
  • wildlife habitat management.

Through County, State and Federal programs, landowners in Outagamie County receive costsharing through programs such as the Soil and Water Resource Management Grant, the Duck, Apple and Ashwaubenon Watershed Program, Environmental Quality Inventive Program, Conservation Reserve Program and the Wildlife Damage Abatement and Claims Program.
