Open Range Management

Adam has over 14 years of professional experience in managing land, wildlife and cattle. He has a bachelor’s degree in rangeland management and a master’s degree in wildlife management. He was the Assistant Superintendent at the OSU Range Research ranch for nine years where he worked with some of the most renowned researchers in rangeland and wildlife management. During his time at OSU he helped teach students the ins and outs of prescribed fire, he conducted hundreds of burns, worked with patch burn grazing research, and played a crucial role in the ranch management. For his master’s project he wrote the book “A Practical Guide to Food Plots in the Southern Great Plains,” and conducted white-tailed deer trail camera surveys on thousands of acres. He has received Big XII Academic, Young Range Professional, and Excellence in Range Management awards. He currently serves as president of the Oklahoma section of the Society for Range Management, and speaks to landowners at educational events.
