Northern Utah Conservation District

The Northern Utah Conservation District's mission is to take available technical, financial, and educational resources, whatever their source, and coordinate them so they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water, and natural resources.

The district is actively involved in identifying field drains in Box Elder County and identifying and addressing local natural resource concerns and providing solutions.

Other activities the Northern Utah Conservation District is involved in includes:

• Providing public outreach effort on federal regulations regarding animal feeding operations.

• Oversees the Bear River Watershed water quality program.

• Represents the district's interests on the Bear River RC&D Board.

• Serve as advisory board for Agriculture Protection Areas in Box Elder county.
