University of Nevada Cooperative Extension's office in Tonopah links citizens of Northern Nye and Esmeralda counties with educational opportunities from the University of Nevada and United States Department of Agriculture. Working with communities in Tonopah, Round Mountain, Smoky Valley, Yomba and Duckwater Shoshone Indian Reservations, Gabbs, Goldfield, Silver Peak and Fish Lake Valley, our programs focus on community development, and children, youth, and families.
