Proactive Conservation for Working Lands

Newport Field Office

The Newport Field Office covers the coastal portions of seven counties along the Oregon Coast including Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, Lane, Douglas, Coos, and Curry. Conservation is a dish best served locally, which is why the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has staff located throughout the state of Oregon to work with you, right where you live, to conserve wildlife and their habitats for future generations. Here at the Oregon Coast, we are currently working to respond to a directive from the United States Congress to assess the feasibility of reintroducing sea otters to the contiguous Pacific Coast of the United States, including Oregon.
