Mark Norton

Mark is a habitat biologist for the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks and has worked with private landowners to create wildlife habitat since 2006. He grew up on a farm in west-central Minnesota before attending South Dakota State University to study wildlife management. Currently he coordinates with federal, state and non-government organizations to shape and deliver habitat programs for private landowners. His main area of interest is in wetland and grassland habitat conservation on working farms and ranches. He also coordinates programs that lease private land for public hunting access.
