The responsibilities of the Soil & Water Conservation Department include:
- erosion, runoff and sedimentation control and
- the conservation of soil, water, and related resources in Manitowoc County.
The primary means of carrying out these responsibilities is by providing technical and financial assistance to landowners and land occupiers in both rural and urban areas.
