Lane County Extension

The Oregon State University Extension Service provides research-based knowledge and education that strengthens local economies, sustains natural resources, and promotes healthy communities, families, and individuals.

In Lane County, Extension currently offers programs in nutrition education, food safety & preservation, farming, and home gardening. We offer a variety of online educational resources that help Oregonians solve problems and lead better lives. We're working on re-establishment of our 4-H Youth Development and Forestry & Natural Resource programs -- stay tuned.
