Land Legacy

Land Legacy is a nonprofit land conservation organization established in January 2003 and located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our mission is to conserve and enhance rural and urban landscapes, thereby improving the quality of life. Our work includes urban parks and trails, farm and ranch preservation, and water quality protection.  We also work with public agencies and other conservation organizations to establish long-term conservation goals and programs.

Land Legacy was established in partnership with the Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture, based in Poteau, Okla. Land Legacy serves the Southcentral United States.

Land Legacy is the only statewide land trust in Oklahoma. Land Legacy works collaboratively with landowners and partner agencies to determine which tools, such as conservation easements, are most effective for any particular project.
