Lafayette County Conservation and Zoning Department

The Land Conservation Department main duty pertains to  soil and water conservation along with Farmland Preservation . Other duties involve conservation of native plant communities, invasive species management and an annual tree sale. We also coordinate with other agencies for locally led, county, state, and federal conservation programs and initiatives.
