Mission:
"The LaSalle County SWCD and NRCS provide the leadership to assist our constituents in the conservation of natural resources."

Putting conservation practices on the land is a top priority for the LaSalle County Soil & Water Conservation District. Conservation practices such as terraces, filter strips, and grass waterways are all practices used to help reduce soil loss and decrease erosion on cropland. Through the Conservation Practices Program (CPP) local landowners have the opportunity to put these practices on the land at a fraction of the cost.
