Joe Hamrick

Joe Hamrick received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. He has more than 23 years experience in natural resource management, planning, and execution, including the areas of game and non-game wildlife, endangered species, sustainable forestry, and environmental compliance. Joe worked eighteen years for a fully integrated forest products company with landholdings in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Alabama. Positions held included: Manager of a 10,000-acre forest and wildlife management demonstration area; Regional Biologist providing internal and external consulting services; Corporate Group Manager responsible for 400,000-acres of “sensitive” forest areas; and Corporate Manager writing and implementing internal policy for sustainable management on 2.2 million acres of timberland. Joe has also acquired extensive experience in sustainable forestry systems, implementation, and certification standards and has conducted environmental audits on forests in Texas, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Maine. Joe is both the Business Manager of Raven and a Project Manager, specializing in services that include regulatory compliance, resource planning, and geographic information systems technology and mapping.
