Hastings-Prince Edward Land Trust

The Hastings Prince Edward Land Trust is a volunteer operated, non-governmental, registered charitable corporation. HPELT was formed to protect the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Hastings and Prince Edward region in Ontario. The Land Trust is entitled to receive land, donations, bequests of funds, and issue tax receipts.

HPELT works with landowners to place Conservation Easements on private lands for the purposes of protecting these properties forever. See ‘Donations‘ and ‘About Our Organization‘ for more information about HPELT – what we do and how you can help.

“It is people, like you, who are concerned that the natural and cultural heritage features of our region need protection. We believe that we can preserve these special places by working together.”
