Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District

The purpose of the Harrison Co. Soil & Water Conservation District, as well as Indiana's other 91 counties, is to provide information about soil, water and related natural resource conservation; identify and prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect landusers to sources of educational, technicial and financial assistance, & to implement conservation practices and technologies. Each county district office serves as a means for all interested people in a county to work for natural resource conservation and development.

to provide direction, coordination, technical and educational assistance to the landusers of Harrison County in the conservation and wise use of soil, water and related rescources
