We work with diverse partners to conserve, restore and enhance fish and other aquatic resources for the continuing benefit of all American people. Our activities include using a science-based approach toward the restoration and rehabilitation of native fish and aquatic species in the Lake Michigan basin. We utilize the best available tools and science to conduct activities such as fish habitat restoration and evaluation, environmental DNA for aquatic invasive species detection, as well as the latest in fisheries mass marking technics and modeling capabilities to name a few.
