Glacial Lakes Conservancy

Glacial Lakes is committed to permanent land protection through private landowner conservation, stewardship of its preserves and easements, advocacy, and community leadership.  GLC’s conservation work is made possible by the generosity of its members, donors, and volunteers.

GLC projects most often partner with willing private landowners, using conservation easement agreements that leave land in private ownership while limiting development and protecting important conservation values. The conservation projects must meet the criteria and goals of the organization to qualify. Once in place, GLC has a commitment to monitor, enforce and defend every easement so that there is a legacy of protected land in place.
