Farmington District OfficeThe BLM Farmington District Office oversees both the Farmington and Taos Field Offices. The District encompasses over 2 million acres of public lands and 7 million acres of Federal mineral estate. In managing these lands and mineral resources, the BLM is guided by the principles of multiple use and sustained yield and a recognized need to protect and enhance the natural and human environment.
