The Dakota West RC&D Mission is to improve the environment, economic activity, and quality of life in the eight county region through conservation, development, and utilization of natural and human resources. 

RC&D is a unique partnership between the Federal Government and communities. The program helps people care for and protect their natural resources in a way that will improve the area's economy, environment and way of life. It provides a way for people like you to initiate, sponsor, plan and implement projects that will make your area a better place to live.
