Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District

MISSION:
To promote conservation of land and aquatic resources in a developed environment through stewardship initiatives, education programs, and technical assistance.

Cuyahoga SWCD offers a variety of services ranging from sediment and erosion controls, conservation planning, conservation easements, watershed protection and planning programs, and conservation education.

For nearly 60 years, Cuyahoga SWCD has used its technical skills and experience to advise landowners about drainage and effective methods of storm water pollution prevention. Each year we strive to share our expertise through a variety of programs, events, and landowner site visits. With assistance from our federal partner, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, the District continues to tackle sedimentation and erosion to protect water quality. Our efforts promote natural resource protection and best management practices for storm water management, which directly impacts our quality of life in Cuyahoga County.
