to preserve the land, air, watershed, plant and wildlife resources of the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the greater Claremont area of northeastern Los Angeles County, as well as to advocate for the protection of important biotic habitats and for access to these natural areas for the enjoyment of current and future generations.
