Central Texas RC&D Council

Established in 1992, Central Texas RC&D Council, Inc. is a 501c(3) corporation that addresses natural resource conservation and community development in eleven counties in Texas.  These counties a located along the IH-35 corridor in the central part of Texas and encompass 6.5 million acres.  Agriculture accounts for the bulk of land use in the region at 5.5 million acres but that is rapidly changing with the growth of employment and resulting population along this international transportation route.
