OSU County Extension offices throughout the state put citizens in touch with research-based information from Oklahoma State University and the entire land-grant university system.  This three-way county, state, and federal partnership has resulted in an effective and flexible organization -- one that is designed to meet the changing needs of the state's citizens while continuing to fulfill its historic role in improving the quality of life for all of the people of the state.
 
In the 21st century, priority areas for Cooperative Extension efforts include:
