Bruce C. Evans

Bruce C. Evans was born in Boise, Idaho, in 1956. He was raised in Garland, Utah, where he attended Bear River High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Music, at Utah State University in 1983. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988. He attended law school under the prestigious Army Funded Legal Education Program and received his Juris Doctor Degree (cum laude) from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, in 1991. He also received a two-year departmental scholarship from the Law School. He is admitted to practice before all courts in Utah, the Army Court of Criminal Appeals, and the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Bruce is a life member of Pi Alpha Alpha, a national public administration honor society, and was an Associate Editor and later Editor of the Brigham Young University Journal of Public Law.

Prior to attending law school, Bruce worked as an Army Counterintelligence Officer with assignments in and Judge Advocate. He served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney from 1992 to 1995. Bruce currently serves as a Colonel in the Air National Guard. After leaving active duty in 1995, Bruce spent two years with OLSON & HOGGAN, P.C., in Logan, Utah. He returned to government service and started a solo practice in 1997 before forming and becoming a partner with EVANS, GROVER & BEINS, P.C, in 2004.
