Bear Lake Soil and Water Conservation District

The Bear Lake Soil and Water Conservation District was organized in 1940. They have assisted cooperators in land leveling, rebuilding irrigation systems, drainage of semi-wet cropland and applying other soil and water conservation practices.

Mission

  • Set high standards for the wise use of the natural resources in the District.
  • Make technical, financial and educational resources available and coordinate them to meet the needs of the local land manager with conservation of soil, water and related natural resources.
