Barton County Conservation District

The Barton County Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service is committed to providing conservation and environmental awareness through education, public information, tours, state, federal and local programs to assure the preservation of our natural resources for future generations.

The Conservation District purpose is to save soil and water by bringing all available assistance to farmers through the district channels then multiplying that assistance by coordinating the efforts of technical representativies of agriculture agencies, civic, groups, clubs, businessmen, bankers, legislators, churches, schools, and each individual citizen.
