Proactive Conservation for Working Lands

BC Nature

BC Nature is very active in conservation work around the province. Focus areas for action include parks and protected areas, species at risk, Important Bird Areas and the Fraser River estuary.

Conservation activities such as letter writing, petitions or meetings with government staff and ministers are coordinated by BC Nature’s Conservation Committee, under the direction of the BC Nature executive. Club members are encouraged to bring local conservation issues to the attention of this committee.

All BC Nature members are welcome to participate in discussions on conservation issues and policy, and to receive conservation action alerts through the BC Nature Conservation Network. To link with this email network, contact the BC Nature office.
