Antique Rose Emporium, Inc.

In addition to selling roses online, The Antique Rose Emporium has two display gardens in Texas. These multiacred gardens feature hundreds of roses, perennials, herbs and native flora reflecting the personality of each location. Each site contains herb gardens, cottage gardens and many perennial borders. All plants displayed are also offered for sale. Gift related items are also available.

Until the discovery of old garden roses, I shared the prevailing bias that roses were hard to grow, were fussy, needed to be sprayed, needed to be pruned in a certain way and were short lived.  Roses we have since discovered have changed my bias and made me an advocate of these easy care roses and I truly believe they are the ultimate garden plant.

Antique Rose Emporium, Inc. is a Texas Superstar® retailer in your area.  Every plant earning the Texas Superstar® designation undergoes several years of extensive field trials by Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, both part of the Texas A&M System. They must show superior performance under Texas’ tough growing conditions. During the field trials, plants receive minimal soil preparation, reasonable levels of water and no pesticides.
