  • Assisting landowners in enrolling in conservation programs, NRCS/EQIP, CRP, OFTL
  • EQIP contract implementation/management – USDA
  • Conservation Reserve Program services – taking farmland out of service and returning it to use as habitat
  • Habitat assessment – this largely includes surveying the land either by walking around it and/or by technology and online resources
  • Habitat improvement for specific species – which could include:
  • Invasive species control – controlled pesticide treatment, largely spot treatment – most often Crossbow or Glyphosate, not restricted use
  • Selective clearing
  • Native planting
  • Pollinator habitat establishment
  • Specific habitat creation such as nesting boxes
  • Girdling or hinge cutting trees to cause them to die over time
  • Tree & woodlot management and Timber stand improvement – which could include
    • Trimming and removal of trees to offer crop release for desired crop trees
    • Crossbow or Glyphosate spot treatment
  • Rain garden creation 
  • Wetland creation/restoration
