Albuquerque District Office

The BLM Albuquerque District Office oversees both the Rio Puerco and Socorro Field Offices. The District encompasses about 2.5 million acres of public lands and 9.6 million acres of Federal mineral estate. In managing these lands and mineral resources, the BLM is guided by the principles of multiple use and sustained yield and a recognized need to protect and enhance the natural and human environment.
